If you like Tiramisu and if you like eggnog, you are sure to like Tiramisu Eggnog! For years, I never cared for eggnog but, knowing that it is such a traditional Christmas drink and hearing it referred to in popular Christmas songs, one day, I decided to give it another try. I liked it! Now, every year around Thanksgiving, I can’t walk by eggnog in the dairy section of the grocery store without picking up a quart. I try not to drink a lot of it because it is heavy on calories. Usually, I add some white rum and top it off with a sprinkle of nutmeg but, this year I decided to try something different.
I pulled out my Hershey’s chocolate syrup, coffee liquor, white rum and started mixing! As I expected, the result was tasty. Tiramisu Eggnog was born! I pulled out my cute crystal coffee mug and kicked off the season with a cocktail! My husband and niece liked it too.
I’m sure this Tiramisu Eggnog will be a hit at the Christmas Cookie Exchange party I’m hosting in a few weeks. This recipe tastes delicious and is so easy to make. It can be prepared ahead of time and served in a pitcher along side of an ice bucket. Eggnog does taste best when it is very cold so, I put ice in it.
Speaking of a Christmas Cookie Exchange, check out my new Christmas Cookie board on Pinterest! It has many of the traditional favorites plus, Italian Christmas cookies too! Great recipes to choose from to bring to your own cookie exchange.
